Important Florida Legislative Session Dates
Due to Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment, the 2012 regular session will begin on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 and last for 60 days. Reapportionment occurs every 10 years to redraw legislative and congressional district lines.
To prepare for the 2012 Legislative Session, the Legislature holds interim committee meetings. There is only one remaining interim committee week scheduled prior to the beginning of the regular session:
