FJA Fall Harvest charity boxes!

When the leaves turn and the temperature drops, we know the Holidays are just around the corner and endless celebrations are upon us. This year, the Florida Justice Association and its local Tallahassee members kicked off a new seasonal tradition with the 2010 Fall Harvest Charity Drive.

Our Fall Harvest Drive was an effort to give back to the Tallahassee community by donating to two local charities—Second Harvest and the Tallahassee-Leon County Shelter. The drive began mid-October, when the FJA team got their creative juices flowing to decorate custom “Thanksgiving”-themed donation boxes to deliver to local participating firms.  One by one, filled-to-the-brim donation boxes were delivered back to FJA headquarters, with items ranging from canned foods, soaps and personal hygiene products, pain relievers and other medicines, and monetary contributions.   Our members took the “spirit of giving” to heart, graciously contributing a total of 436 lbs of donated goods and creating over 350 meals for those in need this Holiday Season!
